AURORA MOVIE THEATER INCIDENT NEWS: For up to date information about the developments of the Aurora Theater Tragedy please go to the Aurora's webpage! UPDATE: 100% of donations made to COVA in the aftermath of the Aurora shooting are going directly to the victims. COVA has been able to assist victims and their families with costs such as airfare, rental cars, and emergency fund situations because of the generosity of people from around the nation. We are unable to provide additional specifics at this time due the gag order from the 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office. DONATIONS: COVA has been asked by Aurora Police Department to coordinate donations for victims of the Aurora mass tragedy. Checks can be made out to COVA and mailed to: 90 Galapago Street, Denver CO, 80223. Please include "Aurora Tragedy" in the memo line. COVA's 2012 Regional Training!! COVA is pleased to announce that starting in late July, and continuing until late September, COVA Trainers will be bringing training topics to advocates in all four corners of Colorado (and the center too!). We have been working with the Regional Representatives in all five COVA training regions to identify needed trainings in each area of the State. As a result, we have put together custom-tailored training programs to address the local needs of advocates from Craig to La Junta, from Cortez to Wray, and all points in-between.
